Many industrial sites collect water data every day and still struggle to answer a basic operational question: where is the water actually going? Static spreadsheets, manual meter readings, missing measurement points, undocumented piping changes, and inconsistent data can make it difficult to reconcile water inputs, treatment, storage, process use, reuse, and discharge. When the numbers do not close, EHS and Operations teams may not know whether they are seeing a real loss, a faulty meter, an unmonitored use, or simply a timing or data-quality issue.
