Chinchu is a senior water scientist specialized in groundwater hydrology and management, with research focus and experience in large scale hydrologic modeling, groundwater monitoring and groundwater stress studies. She completed her doctoral degree in water resource engineering from the Univeristy of Melbourne and has over 7 years of research experience in academia and industry.
