Global Lead Water Sustainability at AWS
Will Hewes leads Amazon Web Services’ (AWS) global water sustainability program. In that role he has primary responsibility for ensuring AWS has a positive impact on water resources where the company operates both by working within data centers to improve efficiency and by investing in community projects that build long-term resilience through efforts to restore watersheds, expand access to clean water, and eliminate water waste. Prior to AWS, Will worked in finance and policy roles across the water sector.

Will Hewes leads Amazon Web Services’ (AWS) global water sustainability program. In that role he has primary responsibility for ensuring AWS has a positive impact on water resources where the company operates both by working within data centers to improve efficiency and by investing in community projects that build long-term resilience through efforts to restore watersheds, expand access to clean water, and eliminate water waste. Jenn brings over a decade of experience in water resource management, specializing in identifying vulnerabilities, assessing corporate water usage, and developing data-driven mitigation strategies. She excels in large-scale hydrological modeling, deep learning-based modeling, and remote sensing applications. Jenn is dedicated to pursuing innovative solutions for sustainable water management.

Senior Water Advisor Lead at Waterplan
Jenn brings over a decade of experience in water resource management, specializing in identifying vulnerabilities, assessing corporate water usage, and developing data-driven mitigation strategies. Nicolas Wertheimer
Co-founder & Chief Sustainability Officer at Waterplan
Nico has a decade of experience in the water sector. He is recognized as a Forbes 30 under 30 recipient, and is active in social entrepreneurship. He founded Proyecto Agua Segura, a B Corporation providing safe drinking water to over 200,000 people across Latin America. He is also a Chivas Venture Finalist, and a member of the Global Shapers Community and the Youth Congress of Sustainable Americas.
