Many companies want to invest in watershed projects but struggle with how to design them for real outcomes, how to work with local implementers, and how to stand behind impact claims credibly.
In this session, P&G, Nación Verde, and Waterplan share a real case from the Cutzamala Basin near the El Bosque dam, where soil conservation and land management practices are designed to reduce runoff and support basin resilience. We’ll walk through the project’s journey in the basin, covering the initial context, the driving needs and challenges, the specific actions implemented, and the final outcomes and key takeaways. This project aligns with P&G’s strategy to help build a water positive future by restoring more water than is consumed in high water-stressed areas through innovation and partnership.
